Arrival and Departure
The rental agreement will tell you where to get the key to your holiday house. It will also state when, by latest, the house will be at your disposal on the day of arrival. Furthermore, it will state when you must leave at the latest on the day of departure.
Specially for key collection at the agency: If you arrive outside the agency's opening hours, the key will be ready for collection in the key box. On departure outside the agency's opening hours, the key will be left in the agency's mailbox/key box.
Only in holiday homes with the reference "hypoallergenic" can you be 100% sure that there have never been pets. Even if the description of the house states that pets are not allowed, a house-owner or their guests may have had pets in the house. Feriepartner bear no responsibility for allergic reactions to house dust. We strongly recommend that people with dust allergies should choose houses with wooden or tiled floors.
Most holiday homes have a barbecue included in their equipment. Feriepartner have no responsibility for the quality or condition of this barbecue. Always remember to clean and empty the barbecue before you are leaving.
Beds/sleeping areas/cupboard space
Bed sizes vary greatly. The width of a double bed varies from approx. 120-180 cm. The length varies from 175-200 cm. The width of single beds varies from 60-85 cm and the length from 175-200 cm. Double beds often consist of one large mattress, but sometimes of two single mattresses. Often there is a protective mattress on top because of hygiene and appearance. Please lay your own sheet on top of the protective mattress. Holiday homes generally have quite limited cupboard space. Therefore, you cannot expect to lay/hang all the clothes you have brought in cupboards. Some cupboards are open or with a curtain.
In some holiday homes there are bicycles, which the guest is free to use. Feriepartner take no responsibility for their quality and standard or any defects.
You can rent bicycles in the local area, and Feriepartner are always available, if you need any further information.
Damages and complaints must be immediately reported to Feriepartner at the start of the rental period. If this is not possible upon arrival, you must get in touch no later than 48 hours later. Damages/defects/complaints do not necessarily lead to discount or compensation (see §6 General Terms and Conditions).
Charging of electric car
In the description of the holiday home on the website under Facilities it is stated whether charging of electric cars (also hybrids) is allowed at the rented house or not. If charging of electric cars is allowed, it will be stated under Facilities, which type of charging is provided and therefore allowed.
If the guest acts contrary to the house description by charging his electric car where it is not allowed, the guest is directly liable to Feriepartner and the owner of the house for the damage and loss that the improper charging may cause.
During your holiday, there may be construction noise in the immediate surroundings. Feriepartner have no way of knowing when and where building or renovation is taking place, and therefore cannot be held responsible.
All holiday houses are privately owned and decorated in accordance with the owner’s taste and requirements. Therefore, Feriepartner bear no responsibility for the tenant’s individual expectations. Unless otherwise specified, all holiday homes are equipped with toilet, hot and cold water, hand shower/shower cabin, stove, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner and radiators. The beds have duvets (in some cases feather duvets), pillows and possibly a mattress topper. There are cutlery and kitchen utensils for the number of persons allowed in the house. Please phone, if you have any questions about décor etc. For your holiday, you must bring the following yourself: bedding, towels, tea towels, dishcloths, tablecloth and toiletries. There are not always cleaning agents in the house. Therefore, the guest is requested to bring cleaning agents.
Deposit / consumption
A deposit is required with each rental agreement and is paid with the 2nd instalment. After departure the holiday home is checked. Utility expenses will be offset against the deposit and the balance refunded within 14 days after departure, into the account you have stipulated. Please note that, for security reasons, we do not receive your bank account number when you make a bank transfer. We therefore ask you to enter your bank details via the "My Feriepartner" link sent with the rental agreement.
All distances have been measured on the internet using Google Earth. We have calculated distances to the best of our ability.
You can generate the driving directions for example on Google Maps.

a) Final cleaning ordered or inclusive
Allow yourself to relax on the last day of your holiday and leave the cleaning of your summer house to Feriepartner. You can book the final cleaning as you book the house or directly at the local agency, at least three days before departure. The house must be tidy on departure and the dishwasher, fridge and rubbish must be emptied. Please dispose any bottles, cans, or rubbish which cannot be placed in the house's waste bins before leaving the house.
b) Final cleaning done by guest
The holiday house must be clean and tidy before departure. Cleaning includes vacuuming, floor washing and dusting throughout the house. The kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, and surfaces) must be clean. Bathroom (toilet, mirrors, fittings, shower and surfaces) must be cleaned. Food must not be left in the house and all rubbish must be emptied. Please dispose any bottles, cans, or rubbish which cannot be placed in the waste bins before leaving the house.
Firewood is not included in the rental price, but you can buy firewood in supermarkets or DIY markets. If there is any firewood at the holiday home, this is the owner’s private property, and may only be used/purchased, if permission has been granted. It is forbidden to gather firewood in the forest or on the beach, which can damage the wood burning stove. If there are high winds or storms, it may be that the wood burning stove/fireplace cannot be used, because the wind pressures the smoke back down the chimney.
You can buy a fishing license for inshore fishing on www.fisketegn.dk
Next to the holiday house there is either a rubbish bin or a rubbish bag. But these are not normally emptied every week. Therefore, you cannot necessarily expect an empty bin/bag upon arrival. We recommend that you separate empty bottles, cans, cardboard and paper, according to the local regulations. If the holiday home is left with an overfilled waste container or unsorted waste, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge a fee for the disposal of the waste.
All holiday homes have garden furniture for your use, i.e. table and chairs. Sun umbrellas, sun loungers and cushions are excluded from this category, and so you cannot expect them to be available in the house.
We would like to point out that you must never accommodate more people in the holiday home than the number specified in the description of the house. Nor is it allowed to pitch tents, or park caravans or camping vans on the plot of the holiday home.
You are recommended to bring your health insurance details when you go on holiday.
High chair and cot
Only if mentioned in the house description there is a cot and a high chair in the house. Cots and high chairs can also be rented by Feriepartner. The cot is a travel cot equipped with a thin bottom. Pillow, duvets and extra pad for the cot you must bring yourself. Pre-ordered high chairs and cots will be delivered to the summerhouse by our staff and should be left in the house on departure. You can order high chair and cot when you book the house or directly at the agency, but no later than three days before your arrival.
Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner make sure that between all rental periods the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned to combat bacteria. If you use the hot tub, you must put one chlorine tablet per person in the water. All houses with hot tubs supply chlorine tablets. Only switch on the hot tub, when the water is 10 cm above the nozzles. If you have used the hot tub - please fill it with cold water before departure or leave the bath water in the spa.
Feriepartner descriptions frequently include the expression “natural land.” This refers to heather moors, tall grass, uneven ground, wild heath etc. This “natural land” has been left to nature, so you cannot count on being able to use the entire area. Nor can you expect the grass to be cut, so that, for example, children can play ball. It is not allowed to park a caravan or pitch a tent on the land. Please also read the point: “Guests”.
A linen pack contains: bed linen, a small and a large towel and a tea towel. Pre-ordered linen packs will be delivered to the holiday home by our staff and should be left in the reusable bags again in the house on departure. You can order linen when you book the house or directly at the agency, but no later than three days before your arrival.
Feriepartner hold on, for up to three months after the end of a stay, to lost property. Any articles will be sent back at the guest´s own expense.

If booking less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the full rent must be paid immediately. Together with the rental agreement all guests receive bank details, including IBAN number and SWIFT code for transferring the stated amount. All guests can pay by credit card on the Feriepartner website.
Pets are welcome in several of Feriepartner's holiday homes, but please read the house description carefully before booking a holiday home. In holiday homes where pets are allowed, the pet is allowed to move around alone on the property only. The pet does not have to be on a leash on the property of the holiday home. In all other places, including on public roads, the pet must be kept on a leash unless public regulations provide otherwise. If pets are brought, it is not allowed under any circumstances to leave the pet alone in the holiday home, nor may pets ever be in the furniture, beds, etc. of the house. Furthermore, we ask you to take care of cleaning up after the pet inside and around the holiday home, including removing pet hair from the inside and 'leftovers' from the outside, so that there are no unpleasant surprises for the next guests in the house.
If it is found that pets have been brought into a summerhouse in violation of the individual house rules, or if it is found that more than the permitted number of pets have been brought in, the guest is obliged to pay DKK 5,000 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house rules and the general terms and conditions of tenancy. The guest is also obliged to pay the amount if it is found that pets have stayed in the furniture, pool room, etc.

Feriepartner draw particular attention to the fact that Danish holiday homes are located in natural areas. Naturally, these natural areas are home to earwigs, ants, flies and spiders. There is nothing we can do about this. In case of extreme insect infestation in the holiday home, please contact Feriepartner. We will do our best to help you.

Unfortunately Feriepartner have had problems with rentals to young people (including damage to furnishings or lack of final cleaning), it has been necessary to set an age limit of 25 years for more than 2 people. This obviously does not apply to young people on holiday with their parents or to two young people renting a holiday home together. Inspections may be carried out.
