The beautiful small island Flatø is located right between the islands Lolland and Falster. The island is car-free and without regular residents, which means that you have the whole island at your disposal. On the island there are 4 apartments for 40 persons which all are updated with respect for the original style. The apartments are decorated tastefully in a modern Scandinavian style and consist of the log house for 22 persons with a cosy sitting room with woodburning stove, separate modern kitchen, 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and extra toilet. The brick house for 6 persons is two-storeyed and is located right by the sea with a rustique sitting room, separate kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. The 1st floor consists of a large bedroom with 6 beds. The red brick house consists of two apartments for 6 persons each. Both apartments include a sitting room in open connection with the modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with jacuzzi. On Flatø there is also an updated barn from 1777 which can be used as a meeting room (AV equipment available) or a large dining room for 40 persons with 2 toilets and kitchen. It is possible to order catering. Furthermore, there is a large tent for 130 persons.
The area
On Flatø there are plenty of opportunities for enjoying the stunning nature. Both children and adults can play on the adventure playground, gather around the fire pits or take a swim in the partly covered outdoor swimming pool. If you fancy activities involving the sea, there are canoes with life vests and small boats available, and there are excellent opportunities for angling. Flatø is a perfect place for a mini break with the whole family or for a company trip, teambuilding course and much more.
Transport to the island is included in the rentel price
On Falster there is a parking space and a boat jetty from where you are being ferried to the island (maximum 9 persons per trip). The crossing is included in the rentel price and takes only 4 minutes.
