The living area is the natural gathering point of the house, with the kitchen and living room in open con­nection, so everyone can be part of the con­ver­sa­tion, whether meals are being prepared, the table is being set or someone is relaxing on the sofa. The large windows draw in the light and offer a beautiful view towards the dunes, while the at­mosp­he­ric two-sided wood-burning stove spreads warmth and cosiness both indoors and outdoors. When the holiday calls for a little extra activity, you can move into the large activity room, where table football, darts and billiards/pool invite both children and adults to enjoy fun com­pe­ti­tions. The house’s two spacious bathrooms make everyday holiday life easy, and by one of them you will find the sauna, ready for when your body needs to unwind after a re­fres­hing trip to the North Sea.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor living is something quite special here at Strand­vej­en 138 A. The holiday home has a huge west-facing terrace, where you can fully enjoy the afternoon sun and long, bright summer evenings. A large part of the terrace is covered, so you can sit outside with your morning coffee, lunch or a glass of wine, even when the wind comes in from the west. The terrace is also enclosed, making it ideal when small children or dogs are joining the holiday. They can move around safely while the adults lean back and enjoy the view of the dunes. The outdoor swim spa is a wonderful gathering point, whether the day calls for playing in the water or relaxing bubbles under the open sky. When din­ner­ti­me ap­pro­a­ches, the gas grill can be lit, and thanks to the two-sided wood-burning stove, the cosy glow of the flames can also be enjoyed out on the terrace.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The location on Strand­vej­en in Harboøre is both practical and scenic, as you stay within easy reach of shopping and within pleasant walking distance of the North Sea. This means that your holiday can easily shift between quiet hours in the holiday home and spon­ta­neous trips to the beach when the sun is shining, the children want to build sandcast­les, or the sunset colours the sky above the sea. The area around Vejlby Klit and Harboøre is known for its beautiful coastal landscape, where dunes, beach and sea set the scene for a classic west coast holiday, and from the holiday home area you can quickly head out into the fresh sur­ro­un­dings. Bring the dogs along for a walk, find a good path through the dunes, or get on your bike and explore more of the area around Vrist, Ferring Lake and Harboøre. If you feel like taking a slightly longer excursion, Lemvig, Thyborøn and Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se can also easily become part of your holiday days. Remember that you can always borrow handcarts, high chairs and cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Vejlby Klit. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us again when your holiday is over.
