With the North Sea only 80 meters away, it’s easy to go back and forth to the beach several times a day – whether for a quick morning dip, sandcast­le building or a peaceful evening walk in the soft light of dusk.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Byskovvej is in the western part of Vrist, close to beach and dunes and with easy access to both nature and town life. The local train stop in Vrist is within walking distance and makes it easy to catch a train to both Thyborøn and Lemvig, where you’ll find exciting museums, great re­stau­rants and local shops. Vrist also makes a great starting point for hiking, cycling and nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces – such as trips to Ferring Lake, Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se or along the trails winding through the large dune landscape sur­ro­un­ding the area. Vrist Beach is well known for its wide sandy shoreline and the raw, authentic North Sea, which changes character depending on wind and weather – and is always worth ex­pe­ri­en­cing, no matter the season.
