One of the main reasons we chose to buy the holiday home at Hav­ne­by­vej 59F on Rømø was the desire to have a place where we could spend holidays with our two adult sons and their families. The house is perfect for family holidays with three bedrooms, a loft for the grand­chil­dren and two bathrooms. It is located in an at­tra­cti­ve area offering unique outdoor acti­vi­ties as well as good grocery stores. At the same time the house is well insulated and equipped with an efficient heating system, so it can be used year-round — both on the coldest winter days and the warmest summer days. Recently we had a heat pump installed that can both heat and cool as needed, con­tri­bu­ting to a com­fortab­le indoor climate. We espe­ci­al­ly like to use the house in spring and autumn, when there are fantastic op­portu­ni­ties to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the rich birdlife of the Wadden Sea.

One of our favorite acti­vi­ties is walks at Søn­der­strand, where you can see in the front row how nature con­stant­ly shapes the landscape. We warmly recommend a 6–8 km circuit on the sout­her­n­most part of Søn­der­strand starting from the parking lot. For the more enduring, we also recommend a roughly 20 km walk along the water on southern Rømø starting at the church. Lunch can be enjoyed at Frankel 5 Café & Re­stau­rant in Havneby. Jumping into the hot tub after such a trip is the finishing touch to a lovely day. Together with Fe­ri­e­part­ner we make an effort to keep the holiday home con­ti­nuous­ly in good condition, well equipped and above all clean, so it always appears inviting — for the enjoyment of both us and our guests.
