💧 Water Use

The house runs on a small water tank, so please help us conserve water:

When doing dishes, pour the water into the garden if possible.

If the weather allows, we encourage you to use the outdoor shower.

🛶 Free Use of Kayaks & Pad­dle­bo­ard

There are 2 kayaks and 1 pad­dle­bo­ard available for you to use.

Life jackets (2 pcs) can be found in the large storage box on the right-hand side of the house when viewed from the road.

Please always wear a life jacket and treat the equipment with care.

🎲 Games & Outdoor Fun

That same storage box also contains various outdoor games—feel free to use them in the garden or on the beach.

🚲 Bike, Grill & Fire Pit

A bike is available on the terrace—great for exploring the area.

There’s also a grill you can use. Please clean it thor­oug­hly after use.

The fire pit outside is perfect for a cozy evening. Just make sure all embers are fully extingu­is­hed afterward for safety.

🪑 Outdoor Chair Cushions

You’ll find cushions for the outdoor furniture in the closets of one of the bedrooms. Feel free to take them out when relaxing outside.

In the big bedroom, there is a little closet which is private.

🛒 Nearest Grocery Store

The nearest su­per­mar­ket is Su­per­Brugs­en in Jæ­ger­spris, about 15 minutes’ drive from the house.

🧭 Di­rections: Drive south from Tornvig Olsens Vej, follow Kulhusvej → Nylands­vej → Fre­de­riks­sunds­vej, and you’ll reach Jæ­ger­spris where the su­per­mar­ket is located.

🌳 Local At­tra­ctions & Acti­vi­ties

You’re staying in a beautiful area full of nature, history, and delicious local treats! Here’s what we recommend:

🏖 Kulhuse Beach (10 mins by bike / 40 mins walk)

A calm, child-friendly beach just down the road. Perfect for a dip or a lazy afternoon in the sun.

🌲 Nord­s­ko­ven – The Northern Forest (5 mins walk)

Large, serene forest with marked trails, perfect for hiking, picnics, or spotting wildlife.

🏰 Jæ­ger­spris Castle (15 mins drive)

A beautiful historic castle sur­ro­un­ded by gardens and forest paths. Explore the museum, walk through the deer park, or enjoy the scenic parkland.

🧭 Di­rections: Head south toward Jæ­ger­spris via Kulhusvej and Nylands­vej.

🍦 Hansens Is (15 mins drive)

This famous Danish ice cream dairy is a must-visit. Located near Lyngerup, they offer top-quality ice cream made from local in­gre­di­ents.

🧭 Di­rections: Drive east from Kulhuse toward Skoven Kirkevej, then follow signs to Lyngerup.

🍧 Jæ­ger­spris Is (15 mins drive, near the castle)

Another local gem! Homemade ice cream with big servings—great after a visit to the castle.

🧭 Located just across from Jæ­ger­spris Castle grounds.

🌾 Svanholm Gods (15–20 mins drive)

A unique eco­lo­gi­cal community and farm open to visitors. They have a farm shop, guided tours (in summer), and a beautiful natural setting.

🧭 Di­rections: Drive south through Skoven and take Ho­ved­vej­en toward Svanholm Allé.
