The house is equipped with a Genvex system – a fully automatic ventilation system that ensures both a good and healthy indoor climate, but also distributes the heat in the house. There will be periods when the system changes the air in the house and can therefore be heard more clearly than usual. This is completely normal. The system cannot be turned off or adjusted.
The Genvex system is set to 2 out of 4, and it cannot be turned down any further if proper ventilation is to be achieved. This keeps the house at a humidity of 55 percent - I have just checked the settings. The recommended level should be between 40-60. The humidity should not exceed 60 percent to prevent mold.
The system will run more when the doors and windows are open.
Feel free to light the wood-burning stove, it is cozy. Please use clean and dry wood. Wood for kindling can be obtained from the shed behind the house. Note that the damper (air supply) must be pushed all the way to the left when in use.
