We have named the house “Viva la Vida,” which means “live life,” as that is exactly the feeling that welcomes you here. The holiday home is situated high and un­dis­tur­bed at the end of a փակ road, sur­ro­un­ded by an oasis of old trees. Almost wherever you are—inside or outside—you are met with a bre­ath­taking 180-degree sea view that helps you relax and truly unwind.

The day begins with a pi­c­tu­resque sunrise. A path leads you directly to the beach, where a re­fres­hing run or walk can be followed by your first swim of the day. In good weather, we enjoy all our meals on the terraces, ac­com­pa­nied by the soothing sound of the waves, and there is also a lovely barbecue area. The sur­ro­un­dings invite both re­laxa­tion and play. We like to bring our bicycles, as the area offers many small roads and scenic cycling routes.

Ebeltoft is only 5 km away, with its charming streets and many cultural at­tra­ctions. Before heading back, we often visit the harbor’s fish market, which offers a wide selection of fresh produce. Ebeltoft Gård­bryg­ge­ri and Jern­hat­ten are also well worth a visit. Within walking distance, you can pick up freshly baked morning bread from Ellen’s Have.
