What we enjoy most is sitting in the living room on the first floor or on the terrace when the weather permits, enjoying a cup of coffee or a cold glass of white wine and watching the sun set over the fjord right outside our little summer cottage.

It is a time for peace, re­laxa­tion and good memories, and when the sun is high and the sky is clear, it is truly magical to behold!

We enjoy taking a short walk to the harbour during the summer, where there is always a pleasant at­mosp­he­re. Everyone enjoys a little fish and smoked goods for lunch from the small fish house at the harbour.

It takes about 25 minutes to drive to Hvide Sande, where there are good shops, but also lovely re­stau­rants.

We have had many good trips to Hvide Sande, which often end with dinner at Re­stau­rant Storm after a visit to Hvide Sande Bryghus.

If we don't eat in Hvide Sande, we always stop by Havnens Røgeri or Nordsø Fisk to buy delicious fish/smoked goods to take home.

When our children were younger, we often went to Bork Legeland, and an annual trip to Bork Vikin­ge­havn was always a hit.

Every Sunday during the summer, there is a large flea market in the open space by the harbour, which we have also visited many times.

But peace, re­laxa­tion, games, cosiness and time for the family in the summer house are still the best things.
