Whether you're into relaxing in a hammock, playing beach vol­ley­ball in the garden, or paddling out on the lake, this house offers ex­pe­ri­en­ces for all ge­ne­ra­tions.

Welcome inside
The holiday home exudes character and aut­hen­ti­ci­ty – something you feel the moment you walk through the door. The ceilings are not high – quite literally – with ceiling heights in some rooms just two metres, a feature dating back to the home's original con­struction in 1907. But in return, you get a uniquely cosy at­mosp­he­re that's hard to find today. The bright rooms and spacious communal area create the perfect setting for shared cooking, long dinners, and cosy moments around the coffee table. And if you're feeling energetic, head over to the old garage, which has been turned into a games room. Here you’ll find darts, table tennis, air hockey, and table football – and even the chance to battle it out over a game of badminton if the weather keeps you indoors. The garage isn’t heated, but that’s unlikely to spoil the fun.

Enjoy life outside
The large natural plot sur­ro­un­ding the holiday home gives you every op­portu­ni­ty to enjoy life in the open air. You’ll find hammocks for relaxing with a good book, and a beach vol­ley­ball court ready for friendly matches in the sunshine. If you want to get out on the water, Ferring Lake is just steps away – and the house provides five kayaks and two SUP boards for free use, as long as you remember your life jacket. There are a few in the house, but they don’t fit all sizes, so bring your own to be on the safe side. When the sun is shining and the waves gently lap at the shore, there’s hardly a better way to spend a summer’s day. And when night falls, fire up the barbecue and enjoy dinner under the open sky, with the scent of grilled food and the sound of laughter filling the terrace.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The location in Ferring Strand offers a wealth of nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces and local excur­sions. With the lake in your backyard and the North Sea just a short walk away, you can switch between paddling, swimming, and walks through the dunes depending on your mood. You can bike or walk to Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se, where the iconic red tower stands tall on the cliffs and offers both a café, bre­ath­taking views, and art exhi­bi­tions. If you’re into art, don’t miss Jens Søndergaard’s Museum nearby, where you can explore the landsca­pes of West Jutland through an artist’s eyes. And if you feel like a scenic little train ride, hop on the local railway at Vejlby Klit and head for Lemvig or Thyborøn – both charming coastal towns full of maritime at­mosp­he­re, unique shops, and family-friendly at­tra­ctions.
