Whether you’re on holiday with family or good friends, there’s plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company – and also the chance to retreat with a book or a cup of coffee in peace and quiet.

Enjoy life outside
With both the North Sea and Ferring Lake as neig­h­bours, there are endless op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy life outdoors – including right around the house itself. The garden offers green areas for relaxing and playing, and the terrace is perfect for cosy evenings with grilled food and a glass of wine in the setting sun. On sunny days, you can lay out a blanket on the grass and listen to the birdsong while the kids play nearby – and when the urge for a re­fres­hing dip strikes, the beach is only a short walk away. Here you can feel the sand between your toes and let the waves wash your worries away. Even the family dog will love the freedom and the many exciting scents in the dunes and along the coast.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The location of Stranden 93 makes it easy to combine beach life with small ad­ven­tu­res in the local area. Hop on a bike and follow the paths around Ferring Lake, taking in the wide-open landscape that stretches in every direction – or visit Bovbjerg Ligh­t­hou­se, where the bre­ath­taking view of the sea is well worth the trip. Art ent­hu­si­asts will enjoy the chance to explore Jens Søndergaard’s Museum, located just a few minutes’ drive from the house. And if you’re in the mood for a short excursion by train, you can catch the local train from the station in Vejlby Klit and head to Lemvig or Thyborøn, where local de­li­ca­cies, charming shops, and a maritime vibe await. Here you get to­get­her­ness, nature, and culture – right in the heart of the Danish west coast.

Remember, you can always borrow pull carts, hig­h­chairs, and cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Vejlby Klit. Just pick them up at the office and return them when your holiday is over.
