Arrival and departure

The rental agreement informs you where to find the key box at your holiday home. It also states the time from which the holiday home is at your disposal on the day of arrival and when you must leave it on the day of departure at the latest.

Question 2

Waste

Accepted Answer

There are waste containers by the holiday home. The emptying interval may vary from area to area, so you should not expect an empty container on arrival. If you find an overflowing container, please contact the local Feriepartner agency. All waste must be sorted and disposed of in accordance with the specified regulations. If the holiday home is left with unsorted waste, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge a fee for the disposal of the waste.

Distances

All distances are measured on the Internet via Google Earth and are given as an air line. The distances have been calculated to the best of our ability.

Question 4

Allergies

Accepted Answer

Only in holiday homes that are labelled "allergy-friendly" you can be 100% sure that there have never been pets. Even if the house description states that pets are not allowed, the house owner or their guests may have had pets in the holiday home. Feriepartner's employees take no responsibility for allergic reactions related to house dust. Please note that people who are allergic to dust should choose holiday homes with wooden or tiled floors.

Question 5

The use of the holiday home

Accepted Answer

The holiday home may only be used for recreational purposes, and thus not for parties and gatherings without the prior consent of the rental company.

Feriepartner is entitled to contact the guest if there is a reasonable suspicion that the holiday home is being used for non-recreational purposes.

Swimming advice

Accepted Answer

In some areas along the Danish coasts it can be dangerous to swim. Therefore, follow Trygfonden's 5 swimming recommendations:

1. Learn to swim

2. Never go into the water alone

3. Take notice of the wind and the water

4. Get to know the beach

5. Don't let the kids out of your sight

Question 7

Children's chair and baby cot

Accepted Answer

You can order a high chair and cot from Feriepartner if they are not already in the holiday home. This will be ready in the holiday home upon arrival and Feriepartner will pick it up after your departure.

Question 8

Payment

Accepted Answer

The 1st rate is a prepayment of 25% of the total rental price. The balance and deposit must be paid no later than 70 days before the start of the rental period. If you book less than 70 days before the start of the rental period, the full rent is to be paid immediately. Together with the rental agreement, all guests receive Feriepartner's bank details. If you have signed up with a credit card when booking, the rental amount will automatically be charged to your credit card.

Question 9

Firewood

Accepted Answer

Firewood is not included in the rental price, but you can buy firewood/briquettes in e.g. supermarkets or builders merchants. If there is firewood at the holiday home, it is the owner's private property and may only be used with permission. It is not permitted to collect firewood in the forest or on the beach, as this can damage the wood-burning stove. In strong winds or storms, the stove/stove may not be able to be used as the wind will push the smoke back up the chimney.

Brochures

In all Feriepartner houses there is a brochure holder containing brochures with inspiration for activities in the local area.

Question 11

Construction noise

Accepted Answer

During your holiday, there may be construction noise in the immediate surroundings. Feriepartner has no way of knowing where and when construction or renovation work is taking place and cannot be held responsible for this.

Question 12

Bicycles

Accepted Answer

Some holiday homes have bicycles that the tenant is free to use. However, Feriepartner is not responsible for the quality and standard of the bicycles and any defects.

Question 13

Bicycle hire

Accepted Answer

Bicycles can be rented in the local area, and Feriepartner will be happy to provide you with further information.

Question 14

Deposit / consumption

Accepted Answer

A deposit is required with every booking confirmation and is paid in the 2nd instalment.  The consumption costs will be deducted from the deposit and the balance will be refunded within 14 days of departure to the account you have provided. Please note that for security reasons, we do not receive your bank account number when you make a bank transfer, and we therefore ask you to enter your bank details via the "My Holiday Partner" link, which is sent together with the rental certificate. If you have paid by credit card, the balance will automatically be refunded to your credit card.

Fishing permit

Accepted Answer

Fishing licence for coastal fishing can be purchased at www.fisketegn.dk

Question 18

Consumption costs

Accepted Answer

Electricity and possibly oil meters are read on arrival and departure and typed into the link in the text message received on arrival and departure. Water is charged per person per day, in some cases water consumption must also be read and typed. This is stated in the link that has been sent. Should the meter readings not be registered, Feriepartner will estimate the consumption.

Question 19

Lost and found

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner will store forgotten items for up to three months after the end of a stay. The items are sent at the guest's own expense.

Question 20

Barbecue

Accepted Answer

Most holiday homes have a barbecue as part of the inventory. This will appear from the house's facilities list on Feriepartner.com. Feriepartner is not responsible for the quality or condition of this barbecue. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the barbecue is cleaned and emptied on departure.

Question 21

Plot

Accepted Answer

In Feriepartners descriptions, you will often find the word "natural plot". This refers to heather, tall grass, uneven ground, wild moorland or similar. This 'natural plot' is left to nature and you cannot expect to be able to use the entire area. Nor can you demand that the grass be mowed so that children can play ball, for example. It is not permitted to park a caravan or pitch a tent on the site. Please also read the section "Guests".

Guests

Accepted Answer

We would like to point out that more people are never allowed to stay in the holiday home than stated in the house description. It is also not permitted to pitch tents, caravans or motorhomes on the holiday home's grounds.

Question 23

Garden furniture

Accepted Answer

All holiday homes have garden furniture available, i.e. table and chairs. Parasols, sun loungers and cushions do not fall under this category and are therefore not expected to be available in the house.

Question 24

Pets

Accepted Answer

Pets are welcome in several of Feriepartner's holiday homes. In holiday homes where pets are allowed, pets are only allowed on the property of the holiday home. It is not necessary to keep pets on a leash on the holiday home's property. In all other places, including on public roads, pets must be kept on a leash unless otherwise required by public regulations. If pets are brought along, it is not permitted under any circumstances to leave the pet alone in the holiday home, just as pets must never stay in the furniture, beds, etc. In addition, we ask you to make sure that you tidy up and clean up after the pet in and around the holiday home, including removing animal hair on the inside and animal 'droppings' outside, so that there are no unpleasant surprises for the next guests who are staying in the house.

If it is found that pets have been brought into a holiday home in violation of the house description for the individual holiday home, or if it can be verified that more than the permitted number of pets have been brought in the house, the guest is obliged to pay DKK 5,000 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house description and in accordance with the general rental terms and conditions. The guest is also obliged to pay the amount if it is found that pets have stayed in the furniture, pool room, etc.

Question 25

Interior design/facilities

Accepted Answer

All holiday homes are privately owned and are furnished according to the owner's taste and needs. Feriepartner can therefore not take responsibility for the tenant's individual expectations. Unless otherwise stated, all holiday homes are equipped with toilet, cold and hot water, hand shower/shower cabin, stove, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner and radiators. The beds have duvets (in some cases feather duvets), pillows and a mattress topper. There is cutlery and crockery for the number of people allowed in the house. For your holiday, you must bring the following yourself: bed linen, towels, tea towels & cloths.

Question 27

Renting a holiday home in the winter months

Accepted Answer

From 1 October to 31 March, the holiday home is pre-heated so that the temperature on arrival is approx. 18°C. In pool houses, the pool temperature is between 26 and 28°C.

Question 28

Bed linen

Accepted Answer

It is possible to order a linen package, which will be ready upon arrival at your holiday home. A linen package includes: Bed linen, small and large towel and tea towel. Pre-ordered linen packages are brought to the holiday home by our staff and must be left in the corresponding reusable cotton bags in the house upon departure. You can pre-order linen packages when you book the house or directly with the agency, but no later than three days before arrival.

Electric car charging

In the description of the house on the website under Facilities, it is stated whether or not electric car charging (including hybrids) is permitted at the holiday home. If electric car charging is permitted, the type of charging that is available and permitted is stated under Facilities. If the guest acts in violation of the description by charging an electric car where it is not permitted, the guest is directly responsible to Feriepartner and the owner of the holiday home for any damage caused by the unauthorised charging.

Question 30

Emergency number

Accepted Answer

In case of an emergency, you can call outside our opening hours: (+45) 89 88 09 85. Phone hours: 9.00-22.00. An emergency is a missing key to the holiday home, missing delivery of ordered linen, no electricity, heating or water, or if there are problems with the sewage system. All other issues should be reported to the local agency when it opens.

Question 31

Swimming pool

Accepted Answer

The hygiene in a pool is very important. Feriepartner therefore ensures that the pool is thoroughly cleaned every week and chlorinated according to the regulations. During your stay, you may therefore be visited by a serviceman from Feriepartner who will inspect the pool.

Complaints

Accepted Answer

Damage and complaints must be reported to Feriepartner immediately at the start of the rental period. If this is not possible upon arrival, the notification must be made no later than 48 hours after arrival. Damage/defects/complaints do not necessarily lead to a discount or compensation (see §6 General Terms and Conditions).

Smoking

If smoking in a non-smoking house, the guest will be charged an amount for any extra cleaning. If smoking outside, ashtrays must be emptied and cigarette butts removed before departure.

Question 34

Beds/sleeping spaces/cabinet space

Accepted Answer

Bed sizes vary greatly. The width of a double bed varies from approx. 120-180 cm. The length varies from 175-200 cm. The width of single beds varies from 60-85 cm and the length from 175-200 cm. Double beds often consist of one large mattress, sometimes two single mattresses. Often there is a mattress topper on top for hygiene and appearance. Please place your own sheet over the mattress protector. Closet space in holiday homes is usually quite limited. Therefore, you cannot expect that all the clothes you bring with you can be stored in the wardrobes. Some wardrobes are open or have curtains.

Final cleaning included

On departure, the house must be tidy and the dishwasher, fridge and rubbish must be emptied, and all furniture must be in the same place as on arrival. Any bottles, cans and rubbish beyond the capacity of the house's rubbish bin must be disposed of before leaving the house.

Hot tub - indoors

Accepted Answer

Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner therefore ensures that the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned at every change of tenant to fight bacteria. If the hot tub is used, you must place one chlorine tablet per person in the water. The tablets are available in all houses with a hot tub and are free to use. Please do not switch on the hot tub until the water is 10 cm above the jets. If you have used the hot tub - please fill it with cold water before departure or leave the last of the bath water in the spa.

Hot tub - outdoors

Accepted Answer

Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner therefore ensures that the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned by our trained staff at every change of guests to combat bacteria. If the hot tub is used, you must put one chlorine tablet per person in the water. The tablets are available in all houses with hot tubs and are free to use (some hot tubs have automatic dosage).

If your stay is longer than 7 days, our trained employee will come by and service the hot tub.

Question 38

TV

Accepted Answer

The number of TV channels may vary from house to house and will be indicated on the house description. Should problems with the TV signal occur, it cannot be guaranteed that this can be repaired during weekends or evenings. In most cases, instructions will be available via the link you received by text message on arrival.

Question 39

Young people from 3 guests

Accepted Answer

As Feriepartner has unfortunately often experienced problems when renting to young people (e.g. damage to furniture or lack of clean-up), it has been necessary to set an age limit of 25 years for more than 2 people. Of course, this does not apply to young people on holiday with their parents or two young people renting a holiday home together. Inspection visits may occur.

Question 40

Bugs/insects

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner draws special attention to the fact that the Danish holiday homes are located in nature areas. Naturally, ants, woodlice, flies, spiders, etc. can occur in these natural areas. Nothing can be done about this. Should an extreme insect invasion occur in the holiday home, please contact Feriepartner. We will do our best to help you.

Question 41

Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher

Many holiday homes are equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and/or dishwasher. Should technical problems occur, it cannot be guaranteed that repairs can be carried out on weekends or in the evening. In the event of incorrect operation by the guest, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge the guest for any repairs. Please always read the instructions for use or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about the correct handling.

Question 42

Weather conditions

Feriepartner cannot be held liable if your arrival at or departure from the holiday home is made impossible due to snowfall, ice or other weather conditions. This also applies to damage, including personal injury, which may arise from this.
